Beginning around 2000 Jesse began to develop a large studio with indoor and outdoor carving space in Steuben Maine. Using a 1959 Lima cable crane and the trees he cleared from the property he assembled a 32 by 64 foot workshop with a design room, a main stone sculpting production area, and a metal forging, fabricating, and equipment repair shop. Soon a diamond wire saw shed addition was added. The studio contains an overhead crane and a 70 foot long railroad that travels from the wire saw, through the building and the indoor and outdoor fabrication areas.
