ACADEMIC AFFILIATION


2018 Tokyo Zokei (art and design) University, Tokyo, Japan: Guest lecturer, “PUBLIC ART AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT” plus stone sculpture workshop leader, Scheduled for December 2018 2012 University of Maine Consultant Contract 2011-­2012, 18 months, Orono, Maine: Worked with executive staff to plan and budget for the creation of eight sculptures at the University of Maine campus, during the Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium 2012. Worked with Facilities management, the UMaine Art and Engineering departments to use campus resources to aid in the  production of large scale public art. Collaborated with the Art department to develop stone carving infrastructure at the UMaine Sculpture building, and to create a sculpture class that worked in conjunction with the sculpture symposium.

Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium Founder and Director – 2005 to Present


Founded a non profit organization that spearheaded the creation of 34 public art sculptures on a trail spanning 3 counties in Eastern Maine. Currently continue to collaborate with educational institutions and non profit organizations to engage Maine communities in public art and international artist exchange. www.schoodicsculpture.org
